Mr. Hamm serves as our senior vice president of corporate development, in addition to his positions as our senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. Mr. Hamm joined Dendreon from Medtronic, Inc. where he served as the vice president and deputy general counsel, heading up the corporate legal department. Prior to Medtronic, he served as the vice president, corporate development and planning at the Carlson Companies in Minneapolis and also held the senior vice president and general counsel titles at Tropicana Products, based in Florida. Mr. Hamm was in private practice for 10 years before joining Tropicana. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
