For more than 15 years, we have been working to fulfill our promise of bringing PROVENGE^® (sipuleucel-T) to market in order to transform the lives of patients. Our journey has not been easy. Nothing worth fighting for ever is.

Early on, we said, “not if, but when.” We recognized the power and potential of active cellular immunotherapy (ACI) to fight cancerCANCERCancer develops when cells in the body begin to grow out of control. Normal cells grow, divide, and die. Instead of dying, cancer cells continue to grow and form new abnormal cells. Cancer cells often travel to other body parts where they grow and replace normal tissue. This spreading process is called metastasis. When cancer spreads or metastasizes, it is still named after the part of the body where it started. For example, if prostate cancer spreads to the bones, it is still prostate cancer, not bone cancer.Close. Thanks to that pioneering vision and the dedication of the more than 1,000 courageous patients and dedicated physicians who have participated in our clinical trials, PROVENGE is now available.

We recognize that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of PROVENGE is a major milestone for our company, but more importantly, for patients.

What makes our work so meaningful is seeing patients benefit. And that is what drives our commitment to furthering this scientific progress and exploring our ACI therapy in cancers beyond prostate.

We're deeply appreciative of the efforts of the clinical investigators, healthcare professionals, patients, and advocates who have supported us, as well as our own employees and advisors, all of whom share the commitment and passion that have led us here today.

Together, we have changed the way prostate cancer is treated. That is worth fighting for. And for all of us, this is just the beginning.
