"Patients First" isn't just our tagline, it's the way we live. In addition to our daily commitment to helping cancer patients live longer, stronger, healthier lives, we also donate our off-hours to work in the community—making a difference for those in need.

This year alone our employees have participated in prostate cancer awareness activities, supported breast cancer survivor initiatives and worn blue shoelaces in support of UsToo.

In support of this work we also match employees' personal monetary donations to these type of cancer-related organizations. This level of dedication is the driving force that helps Dendreon fight cancer both inside and outside of the workplace.

And it's not just about cancer either. Our Corporate Giving Committee also annually focuses on supporting select employee-elected organizations. This year, we raised money in support of Washington Women in Need, Pike Place Senior Center, Safe Crossings, Street Youth Ministries, Seattle Animal Shelter and New Beginnings.
